This is our Isaiah. We no longer have him but he
was so special to us.
Isaiah contracted
Blastomycosis
when he was a young dog
and his eye ruptured and we had to remove his eye.
In this picture, he is missing his right eye (left in the picture).
Most people didn't even realize he was missing any eye.
His sweet expression would hide the fact he was handicapped.
If you want to see pictures of Izzy with Blastomycosis and what it can
do to a dog, click here.
HOWEVER,
THIS IS A WARNING...
THESE 2 PICTURES CAN BE DISTURBING...FOR THE
EXTREMELY SENSITIVE
He was very endearing to us. We called him "Izzy Doots" and
as far as he was concerned, that was his name.
He was the ambassador in our home for the breed
and was a 180 pound big boned gentle giant that everyone
loved and "sold" the breed over to them.
