For God in all His glory knows
When we’re tempted and tossed.

Though waves around us are crashing,
And cause you to tremble in fear,
Take joy my friend in knowing
That God is very near.

He knows our every trouble,
And never leaves our side,
For God’s love is eternal
Forever it abides.

So take heart my friend rejoicing,

God our Father cares for you
He’s as close as any friend.
